Our Mission
Celebrating 220+ cultures in Tāmaki Makaurau
We bring communities together, foster understanding across cultures, and champion the voices of multicultural Auckland through festivals, education, and grassroots support.
For over 30 years, Auckland Multicultural Council has been the heartbeat of the region's diverse communities. We represent, support, and celebrate the more than 220 ethnicities that call Tāmaki Makaurau home.
From grassroots festivals to policy advocacy, we work alongside communities, councils, and partners to build a city where everyone belongs.
"Diversity is not just our reality — it is our greatest strength as a city."
